A beautiful peregrine falcon soars across this contemporary photo frame.
I based this sculpture on some photos I took in the Columbia Gorge near Beacon Rock, which is where Lewis and Clark first realized they were near the Pacific ocean. There is a protected nesting site there and the falcons swoop and glide in all directions. It is really amazing to make the 900 foot climb to the top of Beacon Rock, take in the magnificent views of the Gorge, and watch the falcons sail past only a few yards away.
This is an excellent gift for a birder. There are lots of bird gifts out there but I think my sculpted bird picture frames are one-of-a-kind. Slide in a photo of yourself or maybe that great bird photo you just took and it's a perfect gift for anyone who admires these wonderful birds or just loves the outdoors.
